Hello, my name is Shonda. I am a mother of four, three boys and one girl. I have two high school graduates. One of them is trying to make his own way in the world and the other is making his way by attending Georgia Gwinnett College. My youngest son will graduate highschool in 2020. My daughter is only 12, so we still have a long homeschooling road ahead. I have been an off and on member of EAGLES since my 22 year old was six. Different seasons in life have called for different levels of involvement. My children have competed and succeeded in EAGLES Science Olympiad, Speech and Debate, Science Fairs, History Fairs, Envirothon, and been involved in many of the other activities that are offered like Generation Joshua. I have served on the EAGLES Board for 5+ years. I have been the Secretary since the beginning of serving. Starting new this year I am the Treasurer. I look forward to the challenge and am in the process of teaching myself new skills so that I can be as successful as possible at this new task. That is not the limit of my involvement. I am your go to if you are looking for information on Field Day, Spring Formal, Presidential Awards, Registrations, Fundraising, Service, Year Book, and anything else that gets thrown my way this year. I enjoy working alongside the other moms in our group that have a main goal of keeping EAGLES current and active. My biggest flaw is the “Yes” word and my favorite thing about EAGLES is that there is a place for everyone. If you look you can find something for your kid and if it doesn’t exist then odds are you can join and make the thing happen that you were looking for.
