This is for COMPETITIVE Christian speech and debate only. If you would like introductory classes only, I teach at Dacula Summit Academy on Friday afternoons (Fall registration starts in May at summitacademy.net )

Competitive age is 12 and up but we will also have a juniors program for 9 and up (Juniors competitions are subject to availability) Our team will meet every other week in the fall, beginning August 27th. (2nd and 4th Tuesdays) You can for the most part pick what events you’d like to participate in (see below) you don’t have to do all events.
The daily schedule will be as follows.
    9-10:30 debate
    10:30-11:30 extemp/current events class
    11:30-12:30 impromptu/speech
    12:30-1 lunch
1-2 interp (may change later in year to 1 1/2 hours)
    2-3 apologetics (will adjust accordingly)

Students in all events, with the exception of interp, MUST attend impromptu speech in addition to their area of competition.
All students must commit to at least one competition, meet class expectations and all deadlines. We will prepare to participate in both STOA and NCFCA leagues for speech. NCFCA for debate.

    COSTS
Eagles fee is $20 group membership yearly (payable only once for ALL Eagles activities)
$35 Eagles NCFCA Club fee for the year
Each league (STOA &NCFCA) has approx a $40 family participation fee.
Prep books will be mandatory in debate and apologetics
Extemp requires tons of printing expense
Competition fees include registrations per event, hotel, travel, meals..
Some optional camps will be available in the summer and will be highly encouraged.
    *Fundraisers will be offered

This is a great opportunity that will be both the most memorable times of their lives and the most useful learning experience. This program will truly equip these students to be the leaders of tomorrow. This is a club experience however so you will get out of it what you put into it.
